Q: Can we visit your workshop ? R : We share our passion for chocolate with pleasure ! But for the moment we do not organise visits of our workshop. A little bit of patience…
QUESTIONS linked to orders :
Q: Can we taste your chocolates before ordering them ? R : We can make you taste our handmade chocolates by sending you samples at your expense.The cost of these samples wil be deducted from your confirmed order. On the other hand, we encourage you to trust us : the two founders are chocolate makers and have a passion for their job. We work with the chocolate maker who was elected Master Craftsman of the year in 2004. And not least, we were selected to represent Belgium at the Expo 2010 Shanghai China and also have a list of prestigious references.
Q: Can we have a sample of our projected personalised chocolates (with our photograph or logo) before we place a firm order ? R : As mentioned in the preceding answer, it is very difficult to launch the production of a restricted quantity of personalised chocolates because of the fairly high production starting costs for each order. Call us, and in function of your project, we will organise a personalised meeting and try to introduce you better to our product assortment. However, you will always have a very clear vision of the end-result : before confirming your order our Project Manager will show you a final visualisation of the personalised chocolate(s). We will not start production without your prior approval. Professionals till the end !
Q: How long in advance do I have to order my personalised chocolates to get them in time as business gifts or for my own personal event ? R: The earlier the better ! There is of course no such thing as « too early » to celebrate or spoil your clients/guests. Ideally, we demand two weeks after the approval of our project (photo/logo and budget) to launch the production process and prepare with passion and professionalism the personalised chocolates corresponding to your image.
Q: Can I order less than the minimal quantity ? R: Unfortunately, logistically speaking it is meaningless to produce by hand and send you personalised chocolates for a total amount lower than 150 €. The amount corresponds to 5 Empreinte Chocolat chocolate boxes or an assortment of 30 cute mini-boxes.
Q: Can I bring a last minute change to my order ? (Additional boxes, new photograph) R: We really try to adapt the production to your needs. Advise us as fast as possible and we will try to adjust the order. If the order is already in production, it will be extremely difficult… but call us just in case !
Q: If I issue a new order with the same photograph or logo, do I have to pay the plate costs again ? R: Of course not ! The plate costs are asked for the design development of your personalised chocolates. Once this stage has been completed we can repeat the personalisation of your future boxes without any additional effort or costs on your behalf and it can also be done faster… Discuss it with your Empreinte Chocolat Project Manager.

Q : What are your prices ? R : We advise you to contact our Project Manager to identify your needs precisely and finetune the tastiest solution for your event. However already have a look at our 3 product and budget descriptions on pdf : − pdf Business gifts − pfd Weddings − pdf Birth-Baptism
Q: Which payment solutions are accepted ? Visa et Mastercard Your payments are secure via Ogone. Their securised Platform is certified PCI-DSS, the most stringent security norms for payment systems.

Q: Can you deliver Empreinte Chocolat personalised chocolates outside of Belgium ? R: Yes, we ship all over the world. We work with a supplier specialised in food packaging resisting to temperature variations and with an international shipping company.
Q: Can I use my own transport company ? R: Of course, we use our own usual transport company, but we can call upon your transporter for the delivery.
Q: Can I come and pick my order up in your workshop ? R: Yes, you can come and pick up your order at our workshop. But only by prior appointment and taking into consideration the availability of our personnel. This is however not a preferred solution.
QUESTIONS related to our products:
Q: Do your products contain allergenic ingredients (hazelnuts, milk, gluten) ? R: Although our chocolate does not contain hazelnuts, certain preparations do. We cannot guarantee that our products have not been in contact with hazelnut traces.This applies similarly to dairy products or gluten. If you wish to be informed of the precise ingredient list or if you have any qualms, contact us before issueing your order.
Q: How long can your Empreinte Chocolat personalised chocolates be kept ? R: A question that should not arise. Good chocolate or a box of chocolates should be eaten almost at once… But if you want to keep them, here is some advice : - The ideal temperature to keep chocolate is between 12 and 18°C. - Avoid considerable temperature variations, the chocolate could whiten (but does not affect the quality). - Keep chocolates in the box perfectly closed. - Do not store or place them near strong smelling foods (cheese, fish…) - In optimal conditions, chocolates can be kept for 6 weeks.
Q: Is the ink used for the personalisation of the chocolates edible ? R: Of course, the ink used for the chocolate’s personalisation is edible ink respecting legal prescriptions.
